11/19/2006: Removed all "Adds by Goggle" banners. Click on the "No Goggle!" icon for explanation why.
10/22/2006: "... can continue to work on this page ..." - what a joke! 1.5 years later I've found TWO DAYS to completely re-design this site...
04/08/2005: Finally can continue to work on this page! I was busy with other projects and with selecting a disaster recovery and back-up software.
09/26/2004: Started to work on the "relatives" page. This time they've really done it!...
Found good disaster recovery packages, installed, and tested. Work great!
09/19/2004: The server crashed... Actually it CRASHED! Yes, like this. I could only recover some configuration files, six total. I installed the package fo the UPS support from the Belkin CD (it was really old tarball). I had to reformat and reinstall everything: the operating system, web server, app. server, mail server, etc. In four hours I was completely up and running.
09/04/2004: Uploaded "Kitchen by Sears" section. With VERY interesting pictures...
08/25/2004: Uploaded 56 songs by Arkadii Severnyi, the best ones.
08/22/2004: Continue to remove the "M$ Windoz" from my house. Installed Linux on my workstation and
my daughter's machine. Now three machines out of five are "windoz free". The fourth machine
is a printer/scanner server and runs on W2K. I have to have at least one for testing and because
many programs I have (like Paint Shop Pro) only run on W and it takes time to learn free powerful
"The GIMP" that comes
with Linux. The fifth machine runs "Me" and is not connected to the network: I also need it for testing
and to use dial-up.
08/08/2004: Whew! I am finally done with switching to Linux!!!!. Actually I have no
problem with good windows but only if they made by Anderson.
06/18/2004: Added Contact page. Now you can send me an email directly from your browser.
05/21/2004: Encapsulated automatic email functionality for registration based on JavaMail and James.
Works much better than O J Simpson's glove on his hand. Two days of work... Thanks Sun and Co.
05/15/2004: Received my first spam email! Can you guess who sent me this one (within the first day, my
email never was published yet!).
Here is the answer: (sdraneM).
05/15/2004: Deployed James email server. Now I have my own SMTP, POP3, NNTP and more: no limitations and
pretty easy to install: it took 25 minute from unzipping to sending/receiving email. Thank you Apache guys!
It has so many features that I probably will never use most of them.
05/10/2004: Replaced 3-D animated menu with HTMLmenu and after with Java buttons.
03/05/2004: Developed very cool 3-D animated menu. I like it, but nobody else does.
02/25/2004: Deployed first version. Don't like it much...
01/15/2004: Started development...
12/23/2003: Server's up'n running...
